In telecommunication, CDMA is a channel sharing method. One can easily understand the meaning of CDMA by just twisting its full name ie. Multiple Access (of same communication channel) + (using) Code Division. In contrast to wireless mobile communication, using CDMA technology, at a time different transmitters can communicate their information signals to receivers over a single bandwidth channel. Signals from different transmitters are coded using code division methodologies and then transmitted over single communication channel to receivers. Professor Dmitriy V. Ageev is known to be the first person who mentioned about this technology in his writings during 1935. Then later in 1957, Leonid Kupriyanovich invented first CDMA practical model device.
