Currently there are more than 1300 companies that manufacture HDMI connectors. There are total 19 pins in type A, C and D HDMI while there are total 29 pins in type B HDMI. High Definition Multimedia Interface uses Transition-minimized differential signaling (TMDS) protocol and highest bitrate can be achieved upto 18 Gbit/s in HDMI 2.0.
